This tag should be used in questions about how beings reproduce sexually, i.e. involving recombination of genetic material from two (or more) parents to increase variability in the resultant offspring, as well as how sexual beings engage in sexual relations, even if the sexual act is not always intended to result in procreation.
This should be considered distinct from reproduction by non-sexual means such as binary fission or budding, which would not be covered by this tag.
