Stack Exchange network consists of 183 Q&A communities including Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge, and build their careers.
Suspending contributions in protest against abuse of power by Stack Exchange Inc.:
changing licenses without user consent,
dismissing and slandering long-term moderators like Monica Cellio for weak reasons without communication,
allowing privacy-intrusive advertising,
firing community managers who would speak out against the above,
turning off database dumps without warning despite earlier commitments to free access, to deny access to AI companies so they can sell our work to them instead,
trying to push through an AI Prompt Design SE site (bypassing the Area 51 process), while moderators are striking in protest against their policies on AI that contradict decisions made by the community, and sometimes themselves.
I am looking for alternative places to contribute to.
