Jun 29, 2021 at 21:09 comment added ikegami Never did see Trollhunter, but I loved their subsequent movie Thale. (It's a kind of weird supernatural docu-drama about a crime scene cleanup duo coming across a tailed human at their latest job site.)

Jun 29, 2021 at 9:03 comment added I'm with Monica @NomadMaker, so the average human is about three feet tall?
Jun 29, 2021 at 7:32 comment added RonJohn Bad news for the giants: eating humans gets you noticed. (Besides, 50 isn't a large enough breeding population.
Jun 29, 2021 at 2:02 comment added Mary And they might not need education but would have to be crafty to prey on people who can vanish without notice.
Jun 29, 2021 at 1:41 comment added NomadMaker I think they'd need closer to one human per day per giant. Maybe more. They are about 15 times as tall as a human. This means that they mass about 225 times as much as a human.

Jun 28, 2021 at 19:59 comment added Alexander @Yosef Zaghi That's going to be a major problem. Those giants might be able to keep a low profile, but if they have such a taste for human flesh, they would need to kill a human at least once a week. No human community can live with this rate of human losses and not investigate them.
Jun 28, 2021 at 19:12 comment added yogazefish @Alexander I was thinking as a major food source
Jun 28, 2021 at 18:39 comment added John O Are these giants internet savvy enough to navigate the byzantine Google Maps removal request system? If so (they might require the help of an expensive white shoe law firm), they could disappear completely. Unless they commonly go out in public not wearing any underwear, it's doubtful the paparrazi would stalk them.

Jun 28, 2021 at 18:08 comment added Alexander "These giants ... eat humans" - incidentally, or as a major food source?
Jun 28, 2021 at 17:27 comment added Abigail Are they actively avoiding being noticed by humans? Or are you looking for a situation where humans just don't have stumbled upon the giants?
