I'm a sci-fi writer who focuses on hopeful but semi-realistic visions of the far future, and less hopeful but far more realistic visions of the not-so-far future. I'm decently versed in biology, astrophysics, and temporal mechanics.

I'm also a fantasy writer who focuses on the mechanics of magic and the way it affects the world around it. I strive for realistic considerations of how a magic system would work in its world and shape the culture that uses it.

My best skill is my ability to synthesize multiple disciplines into a cohesive sense of place.
