For questions about specific changes in the characteristics of the weather in a location. You should also consider the tags [weather] and [seasons].

Climate has to do with the temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, and precipitation.

As Wikipedia says,

Climate is a measure of the average pattern of variation in temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, precipitation, atmospheric particle count and other meteorological variables in a given region over long periods of time. Climate is different from weather, in that weather only describes the short-term conditions of these variables in a given region.

On this site we often ask about worlds that have a different climate than Earth. Sometimes we want to know how such conditions could exist, other times we want to know how they affect the rest of the world. Both of these types of questions fit inside this tag.

Always keep in mind that a planetary-sized object is unlikely to only have one climate, but many climate bands and even microclimates. As the above quote says, the tag is not the same as, but related to, the tag. It is also related to the , which generally looks at recurring patterns caused by planetary orbit.
