The problem with a liquid diet is macronutrient (protein, fat, carbs) density is really low compared to solids, and some things (types of fibre) are insoluble. I don't see a 2m+ humanoid surviving on liquids alone; the constant intake of food is typical of a sessile or browsing/grazing animal.
