My question is: what characteristics (like mountain goat foot: good grab in the rocks, no slip off, etc) needs the foot of a dog/wolf to become useful in rocky places like mountains (not very abrupt ones) and rocky deserts? pads? thicker claws? roughness? The creature chance its prey, its not a very surprise predator
