What would be the byproduct of the respiratory process in a silicon based life form, we (carbon based life forms) exhale CO2 but what would a Si based life form exhale?

$\begingroup$ Unless you tell us more about the biochemistry of this Si based life, we cannot answer. C based life has at least 2 different waste products, based on different metabolic paths. $\endgroup$

$\begingroup$ Based on what metabolic pathway(s)? Carbon Dioxide is the gaseous byproduct of metabolic oxidation of ATP in the mitochondria organelles of cells but without knowing what energy carrying molecule(s) you're using and how they're broken down we can't know what, if any, exhaled wastes the lifeform would produce. $\endgroup$
