A shrewdness of apes, an unkindness of ravens, a murder of crows...I wonder how to call a collection of spaceships often seen in the proximity to my planet that is apparently a fruit of a particular kind of alien intellect in every occasion?

Many good questions generate some degree of opinion based on expert experience, but answers to this question will tend to be almost entirely based on opinions, rather than facts, references, or specific expertise. My suggestions are:
They could all be used to describe a normal vehicle and are often used for spaceships in science fiction.
A constellation of satellites. Almost everything is a satellite of something, so the ships wouldn't even need to move to a parking orbit first...
Questions that engender list answers aren't really on topic here, aside from the fact that it's all opinion. That being said, I tried to come up with names that express the intelligence of the ships (not just inanimate objects) as well as their interconnectiveness.
