The Nazis never had more than 10% membership the people did not to WANT to give him power, it was seized through threats and intimidation. They never got more than 34% of the vote prior to seizing power, and never got a majority even after they banned all other parties., hardly the Svengali like powers you are ascribing to them. | |

Hold up, Hitler did rise to power because the people wanted him to come to power; Hindenberg only made him Chancellor, the rest was Hitler's cunning. He became Dictator because of "The Act," and people had to vote for that to pass. | |
