I still feel that it's unrealistic - at least it needs as strong a justification as required by, well, the risk of extinction or of a bride-raiding war - to posit that the government can't and won't do anything. That would require a race bent on suicide, and that's a trait that it's likely to have been bred out of all populations everywhere, if you'll pardon my pun :-) | |
