Nov 25, 2014 at 1:35 | comment | added | Johnny | If the technology (and immense source of energy) exists to move the Earth close enough to the Sun that the rocks are melting (especially if you want to do it "quickly"), it's not inconceivable that the technology exists to build a shield around the earth to protect it. For example, bringing in a constant stream of asteroids between the Sun and the Earth to shade the Earth might do it. | |
