I was aware of the LRO of 'todays' (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_Reconnaissance_Orbiter) but not that there was a predecessor! This makes things much more plausible. Also the analog photography, makes sense that not everybody had access to such detailed pictures. | |
