No matter their culture, race or background human nature is mostly the same. Most people are decent enough, but there are enough bad apples that you can't just trust humans 'code of honor' to protect you. Yes hammert's aren't human, but if you want your readers to relate to them they are human like. Making all hammert's have a trustable level of honor humans wouldn't have feels way too 'planet of hats' for me, it makes them unbelievable as a race to me | |
