Apr 2, 2023 at 1:29 comment added DKNguyen Look at how people tried to deal with Malaria during the panama canal. It isn't just a weapon. Asymmetrical warfare isn't fought by weapons as much as tactics.

Apr 1, 2023 at 10:17 comment added Jani Miettinen @Kristian Insecticides will kill bees, too, along with all other insects that are pollinators. Use of insecticides at the scale the ant attack requires will deliver a death blow to agriculture.

Apr 1, 2023 at 9:26 comment added Kristian Also, we already have one push insecticide google.com/search?q=one+push+insecticide . That would act as area denial weapon. It's small enough to be put on breast pocket. In such world, carrying one might be mandated by law or by social pressure like wearing mask in covid-19 pandemic time
Apr 1, 2023 at 9:23 comment added Kristian On the opening act of the hostility, there might be many humans dead from ant's surprise attack. But after that we will learn that all ants are hostile and everyone will carry insecticide. I'm talking about the spray type. In order for ants to carry out their objective, they will need to appear in human territory. At that time, any human on site will just spray them.
Apr 1, 2023 at 8:10 comment added DKNguyen @Kristian Well, I suppose if they're intelligent they won't be so easy to bait.
Apr 1, 2023 at 7:13 comment added L.Dutch How do you measure effectiveness?
Apr 1, 2023 at 6:03 comment added Kristian why everyday insecticide is not enough? it's harmless enough that anyone can buy in local convenience store (I'm guessing that with such adversary, there will be pressure to produce more of them or even government incentivizing or subsidizing its purchase to the point that it becomes like what mask is in post covid society)
