Aug 21, 2015 at 11:50 comment added Taemyr @Magic-Mouse A more serious concern is the fact that relying on mythologial explanations for the launches gets difficult when the natives are descendents of space farers. Care must be taken to insure that existing myth does not lend itself to correct identification of a space launch. I have edited the answer to mention this as a potential problem.
