(Same energy but harsher frequencies, and over some hours only instead of the several months to a year for this scenario) | |

Expect a lot of clouds. For the second wave of accelerated dust to hit the planet, maybe. It will wreck the ozone layer, form some interesting compounds of Oxygen and Nitrogen in the upper atmosphere, confuse the heck out of anything that can sense magnetic fields, and absolutely devastate any electrical technology. Surface life will be somewhat off, subsurface and ocean life will be fine. The dust cloud, by the time it reaches the planet, is very diffuse. | |
