There's a huge variety of energies and types of radiations so my guess is that it has been studied either in humans (in a therapeutic setting or accidents) or animals.

Really? Do your own Google research. Use "Radiation Sickness" as a search criterion.
Jul 14, 2021 at 7:23 comment added user Interesting. Could you add some links for the 5% per Sv and perhaps if you know at what dose of (say >2MeV gamma) there are visible signs? I believe they are doing it with lower doses to avoid such symptoms over large periods of time. Unless there are obstacles which I don't know about.
