I'm writing a story and one of the characters can control other people with electricity sent to their nervous systems without physical contactcontact; that is, to be able to force control their body without interruption from the target's mind. How could one do that and not break the laws of physics?

I've seen people have their limbs disrupted by diodes plugged on their arms and legs, so some level of control should be possible without targeting the brain, but the limbs themselves.

It's OK if it is not currently doable, but it would be much better if it was feasible with our current technology.

Is there any way to control people by sending electrical signals to the body "wirelessly"?
