Oct 11, 2020 at 2:56 | comment | added | Xavon_Wrentaile | Does she care if the planet survives? Because destroying the Earth (one a of couple of ways) would pretty much wipe out all life, but might have some negative consequences for the goddess as well.
Oct 9, 2020 at 20:30 | comment | added | Abion47 | @encryptoferia I'd say no. If you can control the atoms and nuclear bonds that make up water molecules, then at that point you aren't really working with "water" anymore, and there's no real reason that your control should be limited to just water.

Oct 7, 2020 at 16:33 | comment | added | user73215 | What are the limits of her power? If she could impart 160 million Joules to each kilogram of water, she could overcome the binding energy of the earth and literally destroy the planet. Imagine crushing it by squeezing it with the oceans. Of course, to kill all life, you don't need even close to that. If you can cause major fractures to the crust, it would kill everything pretty quick.

Oct 6, 2020 at 18:30 | comment | added | M. A. Golding | Killing all life ON Earth is easier than killing all life in Earth's ecosphere. Because there is considerable life IN Earth, microorbanisms living in the top few miles of the Earth's crust. So whatever you, decide, frame the extinction as killing all life ON Earth so people don't worry whether all life IN Earth will also be killed.

Oct 6, 2020 at 18:22 | comment | added | IT Alex | May I suggest "Most creative answer wins!" be exchanged for "Total world destruction with least amount of goddess interference" It allows for the end result with a good method of measuring best response.

Oct 6, 2020 at 17:11 | comment | added | L.Dutch♦ | Welcome to worldbuilding, please note that we don't do fishing for ideas, and stating that "the most creative answer wins" doesn't give a clear guideline for picking an objectively best answer. Take the tour and visit the help center to understand what we expect from a good question

Oct 6, 2020 at 17:08 | comment | added | notovny | Water's a mineral out past the Asteroid Belt. Pretty much everything solid in the outer solar system has water ice as a major component. What kind of range does she have on her "Control Water" power?
