However, i believe a taboo would not exist, if there weren't people who followed the tabooed practice. The danger of investigating the species would not be known without trying to actually investigate (and danger has never stopped human curiosity on a species level). And finally, a compact or treaty would also not exist without people having done just that - also, from wales to elephants, a compact does not stop all of human indivduals. | |
