If the police know this is the type of threat; they would start bringing in this type of equipment (and the operators) either from the military or intelligence services. I really appreciate your insight to reserved military frequencies and the idea that these ex military mercenaries would prefer to use professional equipment and a proven workflow (including testing). It really works in many ways for my story. I'm now wondering how wide a scanning system could be set up because the second attack in my story is in another city. Possibly out of range of my surveillance cop's local equipment. Perhaps he hooks into a nationwide system? | |
