Assuming that humans could remain as decision-makers at any levelany high level (e.g. defining what type of life humans want to enjoy, what humans would like the world to look like, etc.), the need will always exist to specify (and most importantly give feedback on) those goals, objectives and to keep refining them, or adapt to new preference frontiers.
TheOne could argue that the above level of controlconstitutes work, and can definitely have a meaningful and significant impact in the economy, again, subject to the decisions that humans care about and retain control over.
I would say thatthink we call the above "programming" or machine learning (automatic programming from data) in today's world.
