We would probably also keep seconds (not decicenticentidays or lakhidays or microdays or whatever) since all of our existing units are based on it, and I for one wouldn't look forward to dealing with metric, imperial, and anthropic units. We might lengthen the day to some round number (say 90,000 s), since artificial lighting patterns tend to lengthen the biological clock cycle to around 25 hours. | |
