When denying victory by destroying/killing the thing/person the attackers want is a desirable last resort outcome for the defenders, then that will almost always be an option, regardless of whether you have a floating or a conventional castle. It only helps if the attackers goal is to take the castle itself (and not just get rid of the castle or its inhabitants). | |
