It's a common staple of science-fiction films (e.g The Terminator or Robocop) to have a POV shot from a robot or cyborg's perspective with a HUD being used to observe it'sits surroundings. Would a robot need a HUD to act as some sort of decision-making mechanism? And if so, what sort of circumstances would make a robot need to use a HUD when studying it'sits environment?
